Welcome to the Middle Georgia Book Club Blog

At our last meeting on May 19, 2012 at Gottwals Books in Byron. We decided that we needed to do more to get the word out about our Book Club. We would love to have more than five members attend as we believe the more diversity, the better.
Our next meeting will be July 7th. at 2:30 ish.....we are not sticklers for people being punctual, after all this is just for fun! We will again meet at another Gottwals Books location. This time in Perry.
No, we don't get paid for meeting there or advertising. We simply all just like the local chain of book stores and they usually have a place where we can meet and talk about the latest book we have read.

Our Summer Fun read that we will be discussing at our next meeting is Savannah Breezes By: Mary Kay Andrews our member Erin Hinson chose this one as our last couple of reads were pretty intense and we needed something light that would make us laugh.

We hope that you will join us and come socialize with us and embrace the spirit of our club. This is a great way to socialize for single, married, young, and old. We take anyone who loves books!
